School activities and awards: Band, Orchestra, National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, Start with Hello Club, Quiz Bowl, Honda Academic Awards, ABC Awards, AP Scholar with Honors, Swim, District Swim, and CBC Honors in Swim.

If I were principal for a day: I would bring in food trucks for lunch.

Favorite school memory: Going to Nationals for Quiz Bowl.

People who have been an inspiration to me: My Grandpa Hopkins.

Lately I’ve been reading: Meditations by Marcus Aurelius.

My advice to parents: Give your kids room to learn things for themselves.

My biggest regret: Not having Quiz Bowl my freshman and sophomore years.

Next year: I will be attending college for pre-med or pharmacy.
