School activities and awards: Varsity Football Cheerleader (1 year), Basketball Cheerleader (4 years), Competition Cheer (3 years), Cross Country (1 year), Track (2 years), National Honor Society (2 years), Yearbook Editor (3 years), Heart of a Chieftain Award (sophomore and junior years) for documented service hours, Mary Rutan Heart of a Chieftain Award (junior year) for health and physical education, and multiple academic awards for grade point average.

If I were principal for a day: I would have everyone bring in pillows and blankets and project a movie on the football field.

Favorite school memory: Painting my senior parking spot and having fun with everyone there.

People who have been an inspiration to me: My mom, dad, nana, and papa.

Lately I’ve been reading: Poetry.

My advice to parents: Try to look past grades and performance and look at what your child needs to help them succeed and not focusing on if they are succeeding.

My biggest regret: Worrying about hurting others with my opinions or choices when they weren’t supportive.

Next year: I will be attending Columbus State to get my associate’s degree in dental hygiene.
