Bellefontaine Chieftains Defeat Indian Lake in CBC Showdown

The Bellefontaine Chieftains traveled to Indian Lake Tuesday night for a CBC matchup and came away with a 69-57 win over the Lakers. 

The Chieftains improved to 7-5 on the season with the win.

The Chiefs had great balanced scoring led by Jair Mundy with 20 points.  Jacob Salyer scored 12 points, and CJ Butler added 11 points.  Braylon Newcomb registered a "triple-double" by posting 10 points, 11 assists, and 11 rebounds in the Chieftain victory. 

​Brodey Reisinger led the way for the Lakers with 22 points.

In the JV contest, Bellefontaine won 52-31.  Spencer Stolly scored 12 points and Sutton Daring scored 11 points in the win.

The Chiefs are back in action Friday night when they host the London Red Raiders in a key CBC matchup.
