Over 4,000 votes cast to honor local favorites across 24 categories

The votes are in, and the results are official! The Logan County Visitors Bureau is proud to announce the winners of the 6th Annual Best of Logan County Awards. With over 4,000 votes cast across 24 categories and 332 total nominations, residents and visitors alike came together over two rounds of voting to celebrate the best of local dining, shopping, attractions, and experiences.

RTC Celebrates Local Direct Support Professionals: Servant Hearts Making a Difference Every Day

At RTC Industries, compassion is more than a value — it’s a daily practice. The organization recently took time to honor its dedicated team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), whose tireless work helps individuals with developmental disabilities live meaningful, empowered, and joy-filled lives.

Described by RTC as “servant hearts in action,” these professionals embody patience, kindness, and selflessness, seeing every person they support not for their disability, but for their individuality and potential.

Bellefontaine High School Hosts 7 Local Schools at Fall Choir Festival

Bellefontaine High School hosted the Fall Choir Festival in the main gym Tuesday night.

A large crowd was entertained by seven local schools.

The Bellefontaine Concert Choir opened the show.

They were followed by the Riverside Chorus, Calvary Christian High School Choir, Jackson Center High School Choir, West Liberty-Salem Varsity Choir, Indian Lake High School Chorale, Benjamin Logan High School Chorale, and Bellefontaine Symphonic Choir.

Vineyard Christian Fellowship Launches “Open Table” Free Community Saturday Breakfasts in Bellefontaine

Bellefontaine Breakfasts by Vineyard Christian Fellowship

The Vineyard Christian Fellowship of Bellefontaine has launched a new Free Hot Breakfast, serving a warm meal every Saturday morning to anyone in the community—no questions asked. Breakfast is served Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Vineyard Christian Fellowship, 1659 County Road 18, Bellefontaine.

The menu includes pancakes, sausage, eggs, toast, and beverages.

This effort, named Open Table, arises from growing financial pressures many Logan County residents are facing, including the ongoing government shutdown, reduced SNAP benefits, a slowdown in manufacturing, and rising costs of food, utilities, and health care.

Local Veterans Invited to WL-S Veterans Day Breakfast

The West Liberty-Salem Leadership Council invites all veterans, current service members, and their families to join us for a special Veterans Day Breakfast on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, from 8:00–9:30 a.m. at West Liberty-Salem School.

This annual tradition is a heartfelt opportunity to honor and thank the brave men and women who have served or are currently serving in our nation’s armed forces. 💙❤️🤍

🥞 Breakfast will be provided by the WL-S FFA.
🎖️ Guest Speaker: Retired Lt. Col. Douthwaite
🎶 Special appearances from members of our WL-S Music Department.
