Benjamin Logan FFA Members Attend 97th National FFA Convention in Indianapolis
Benjamin Logan FFA members traveled to Indianapolis, Indiana, from October 23-25 to attend the 97th National FFA Convention. The trip included activities focused on leadership, teamwork, and hands-on agricultural experiences.

The Benjamin Logan FFA members joined Indian Lake FFA members for the journey. On their way to Indianapolis, they stopped at Shaffer’s Goldrush, a renowned boar stud farm, where they learned about the latest advancements in swine genetics and management. The group also visited Beasley’s Orchard, where they enjoyed apple cannon activities, hayrides, a straw bale playground, and a corn maze.

The Logan County Collaborative’s “3E” Initiative brought excitement and career exploration to Benjamin Logan Elementary School today, as local health professionals from Mary Rutan Health visited 3rd-grade classrooms. This unique initiative, supported by Honda, is designed to connect students with diverse career pathways through engaging storytelling and real-life role models.

Today’s classroom visits featured Niki Thomas from Mary Rutan Cardiology and Michelle Hamm from Mary Rutan Respiratory. Both professionals shared stories about their careers, providing students with a firsthand look into the world of healthcare. These presentations allowed young students to envision potential futures in medical fields, inspiring curiosity and offering a glimpse into the vital work of health providers within the community.

Lady Raiders Fall In District Championship
The Benjamin Logan volleyball team is the Division 4 District 9 Runner Up. The Raiders fell to Archbishop McNicholas in three sets.

The Lady Raiders finished the season 16-8 as the Central Buckeye Conference Champions of the Mad River Division, Sectional Champions and Districts Runner Up.

Benjamin Logan Schools Hosts Annual Spirit Walk

Organized by Mr. Painter and the Raider Outreach Club (ROC), a student-led service organization dedicated to promoting leadership and community service, the event brought together over 600 elementary students and high schoolers in a festive, spirited atmosphere.

October is World Manufacturing Month and ILHS senior Braylon Washington is ready to play a role in the global supply chain!

Washington plans to apply and work at NKP Parts near East Liberty. His mom has been an employee there for a few years and Braylon wants to join the warehousing team. He says the company is always looking for new employees and he is excited to do the job to the best of his ability!

ILHS Senior Jasmine Kingery is #enrolled early and ready to help others. She is already accepted at Rhodes State in Lima to study social work under the major Addictions, Mental Health and Social Work.

Jasmine says, "I want to help people. I want to provide compassion and empathy for those who need it."

Jasmine works part time at McDonalds of Indian Lake and she plans to continue that job while in college.
