​Otterbein Green Hills welcomes Nicole Daniels as the executive director for the senior living community. 
 
She replaces Mike Ray, who retired at the end of June after being at Green Hills for 33 years. Green Hills Community merged with Otterbein SeniorLife at the end of 2024.

Heaven’s Dew Agriculture & Healthy Home is inviting the community to join in the fun at its annual Harvest Celebration on Saturday, October 11, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Manufacturing Month has officially kicked off in Logan County!  National Manufacturing Day is celebrated annually on the first Friday in October.  This day serves to recognize the incredible impact manufacturing has in creating jobs and products our world relies on.  In Logan County over 30% of our workforce is in the manufacturing industry, compared to 8% nationwide. ​

​Bellefontaine High School held its homecoming dance Saturday night.

Kaiden Foulk was crowned the king.

Haidyn Bruce was named the queen on Friday night before the football game.

The court included queen candidates Belen Abrego and Chloe Stolly, junior attendant Gracie Wickham, sophomore attendant Amari Hunsicker, freshman attendant Holland Hower, and king candidates Carter Caudill and Jared Young.
The dance was held in the BHS Cafeteria.

It’s the largest dance of the school year.

Every October, Manufacturing Month highlights the opportunities within one of America’s most vital industries. This year, Honda kicked off the celebration early by welcoming students from across Central Ohio, including 33 juniors and seniors from Worthington City Schools to its Marysville Automotive facility.​

The community is invited to take part in a powerful learning opportunity that aims to reduce stigma and build support for individuals facing substance use disorders. The Responding to Addiction Workshop will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025, from 6:30–8:00 p.m. at First Christian Church, 215 E. Sandusky Avenue, Bellefontaine.
