Kaser was officially recognized with the R.A. Horn Outstanding Student Achievement Award during a special luncheon in Columbus. The prestigious award honors students who have overcome challenges, prioritized their education, and made a positive difference within their schools and communities.

Ohio Hi-Point Career Center graduate Richiona Burnell won Gold at the SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference in Atlanta, Georgia.

Burnell, a 2026 OHP Cosmetology graduate, placed first in the nation in the Prepared Speech competition, which challenges students to write and deliver a speech based on SkillsUSA’s annual theme. Burnell advanced to the national competition after placing first at the Ohio SkillsUSA Leadership Conference in April.
