Benjamin Logan Educator Nelly Andrade-Hughes Earns Statewide OWLA Honor

Benjamin Logan High School Spanish teacher Nelly Andrade-Hughes has been named the recipient of the Leona Glenn Award for Outstanding High School World Language Educator by the Ohio World Language Association (OWLA).

She received the award at the OWLA Conference, where she was recognized for excellence in world language education and her commitment to student success. Andrade-Hughes was nominated by Teri Wiechart, OWLA Membership Chair and retired educator from Delphos Jefferson High School.

Benjamin Logan Board of Education Holds March Regular Meeting

The Benjamin Logan Board of Education met in regular session on Monday, March 16, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the Central Conference Room.

During the meeting, the Board recognized March Seniors of the Month, Miah Defibaugh and Joseph Meeker, for their outstanding accomplishments.
