​As we celebrate Women’s History Month, we honor the remarkable story of Isaac and Myeerah Zane, whose lives bridged two cultures and left a lasting legacy in Logan County. Isaac Zane first came to the area as a captive of the Wyandot. At nine years old, he was captured near his family home in Virginia and adopted by Tarhe-the Crane, the principal chief of the Wyandot. Known as "White Eagle," Isaac grew up immersed in Wyandot culture.
