The Benjamin Logan Quiz Bowl team showcased their talent and determination on Saturday, competing in the inaugural Parkway Invitational at Parkway High School. With a stellar 6-1 record, the Raiders earned 3rd place overall out of 16 teams in a competitive field and were recognized as the Top Small School in the competition.

Bellefontaine Chieftains Fall to Urbana in CBC Matchup

The Bellefontaine Chieftains faced the Urbana Hillclimbers on Friday night in a CBC showdown but came up short, losing 63-37. The Chieftains now hold an 8-7 record, while Urbana improves to 8-5.

Bellefontaine’s scoring was led by CJ Butler and Jair Mundy, each contributing 8 points, with Grayson Lotts and Jamison Clement adding 6 points apiece. Urbana's Grady Lantz led all scorers with 21 points, followed by Sam Wilhelm with 15 and Julian Davis with 12.

Ohio Hi-Point announces second quarter Superintendent’s List, Honor Roll

Ohio Hi-Point Career Center recently announced the career center’s Superintendent’s List, Honor Roll and half-day Honor Roll for the second nine weeks.

Logan County Health District partners with SAMHSA to encourage parents to talk to their kids about the risks of underage drinking and substance use.

Parents have a significant influence in their children’s decision to experiment with alcohol and other drugs. Although it may not seem like it, when parents talk about underage drinking and substance use, their children do hear them.

The Logan County Health District has partnered with SAMHSA to bring the "Talk.
They Hear You." campaign to Logan County, with the aim to empower parents and caregivers to talk with children early about alcohol and other drug use.
