Alex Thuel Named January Senior of the month

Alex is a senior at Riverside Local Schools. Learn a little more about Alex, her accomplishments and future aspirations below!

School: Riverside High School
Parents: Beth and Jason Thuel

School activities & awards: BPA, NHS, NTHS, Student Council, cheer, band, and also attended the Honda Academic Breakfast and the Evening of Excellence for the past 3 years

If I were principal for a day: Go back to the kindergarten days and wear pi's while watching Polar Express and drinking hot cocoa

Favorite school memory: the senior play

People who have been an inspiration to me include: my coaches, parents, teachers, classmates, and even my coworkers

Lately, I have been reading: Dear Evan Hansen

My advice to parents: Always support your kids no matter what. Don't make them do something, but always encourage it.

My biggest regret: not taking the opportunities soon enough

Next year I will be: attending college to study culinary arts/restaurant management and business
