Logan County’s vision for a children’s museum just took an inspiring leap forward. After months of dreaming, planning, and gathering feedback from families across the region, the LoCo Kids Foundation has officially announced the name of its future museum: The LoCo Kids Imaginarium.
The name — joyful, imaginative, and full of possibility — reflects the spirit of the project and the community that’s rallying around it. Created with input from parents, educators, and local supporters, the LoCo Kids Imaginarium aims to become a place where curiosity thrives, creativity is encouraged, and children can explore the world through hands-on discovery.

Tiger Nation is celebrating a major accomplishment this week as West Liberty-Salem senior Caleb Larson delivered an outstanding performance at the 2025 Mid East Cross Country Championships in Kettering.

Larson placed 8th overall, crossing the finish line in 16:16.32 against some of the top senior runners from across the Midwest. His strong finish played a key role in helping Team Ohio secure its first team title since 2013, marking a historic moment for the Buckeye State.

Bellefontaine City Schools Robotics hosted the inaugural “King of the Hill” tournament at Bellefontaine Middle School on Saturday.

The robotics qualifier featured 68 teams from across the state – 45 high school teams and 23 middle school teams – each competing in their own divisions for a chance to advance to the next level of competition.

Downtown Bellefontaine has a new story to tell. The Next Chapter Bookstore, a locally owned and family-operated shop specializing in used books, has officially opened its doors inside the Main Street Marketplace at 130 S. Main Street, Suite B103.
Founded by longtime book lover Lisa Yoder, The Next Chapter brings an affordable, community-centered approach to reading and book collecting. The store features a wide selection of used books in all genres, along with book-themed accessories. Future plans include the possibility of adding new releases based on community interest.

Bellefontaine’s Jerome Wickham Finishes Racing Season with Strong 2nd Place at Newcastle Motorsports Park

Local racer Jerome Wickham closed out an exceptional 2025 kart racing season with a 2nd place finish at Newcastle Motorsports Park, capping off a year filled with growth, consistency, and competitive success.
Now in his third year of competition, the Bellefontaine Middle School seventh grader entered the season with ambitious goals: to claim at least one race victory and secure a top-five finish in the 14-race KRA series. When the checkered flag waved on October 16, he had far surpassed those expectations.
