Responsibilities include developing and overseeing community outreach programs, coordinating services for children in neighborhood settings, managing volunteers and staff, preparing newsletters and announcements, and connecting families with local resources.
The role also involves managing the outreach department budget, securing donations, coordinating community events such as fundraisers and public forums, and attending required meetings and trainings. Additional duties may include limited casework responsibilities when assigned. Qualified candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or a related human services field, possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and pass a criminal background check. Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills are required, along with the ability to work independently and compassionately with diverse populations.
