West Liberty-Salem Seeking High School Biology Teacher for 2026-27 School Year

West Liberty-Salem Schools is currently accepting applications for a High School Science Teacher – Biology position for the 2026-2027 school year.

District officials say the position offers an opportunity to join a supportive school community known for strong academics, meaningful student-teacher relationships, and a commitment to student success.

The successful candidate will teach in a department that features small class sizes

averaging 17 to 23 students, modern science lab facilities, access to a greenhouse, and collaboration with a three-person science team.

West Liberty-Salem is seeking a qualified educator who can inspire curiosity, encourage scientific exploration, and help students build a strong foundation in biology and the sciences.
