Position Overview
Join Tractor Supply Co. as a Team Member! This role involves interacting with customers and fellow team members, supporting selling initiatives, and completing assigned tasks while delivering legendary customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service using the GURA process:
  • Greet the Customer
  • Uncover the Customer’s needs
  • Recommend products
  • Ask for the Sale
• Operate cash registers/computers and follow cash-handling procedures.
• Assist with merchandise recovery, freight processing, and Plan-o-gram tasks.
• Assemble merchandise and perform janitorial duties.
• Execute price changes and markdowns.
• Operate equipment like forklifts and balers (age restrictions may apply).
• Assist customers with loading purchases.
• Care for and sanitize poultry holding tanks and ensure bird well-being.
• Complete all associated documentation and additional assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma preferred.
• Experience: No prior experience required.
• Preferred Knowledge: Familiarity with farming, ranching, pet/equine care, or welding.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and basic computer skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and resolve issues ethically.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push/pull up to 2,000 pounds with equipment assistance.
• Frequent standing, kneeling, twisting, bending, and climbing ladders.
• Comfortable operating store equipment like registers, computers, and forklifts.
• Ability to work full shifts and access all store areas safely.

Working Conditions

• Moderate noise levels in an indoor environment with hard floors.
• Varied shifts (minimum 4 hours, potentially exceeding 8 hours).
• Adherence to safety guidelines for a productive work environment.
