Position Overview
The Intake Unit is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Services Investigator to provide case management, conduct investigations, and ensure the safety and well-being of children and families. This role requires strong collaboration with courts, law enforcement, medical providers, and other community partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct complex case management, including home visits and court compliance monitoring.
• Investigate complaints and referrals related to child and family safety.
• Serve as on-call worker one week per month (including weekends, holidays, and after-hours).
• Prepare detailed case records, assessments, reports, court documents, and case plans.
• Provide court testimony when necessary.
• Collaborate with families, courts, law enforcement, and community stakeholders.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all agency policies.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or related human services field.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Clean criminal background check.
• Strong organizational, documentation, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to build rapport and maintain ethical boundaries with diverse populations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Compassion, empathy, and the ability to remain composed in stressful situations.
