Part-Time Student Services Administrative Support Position at Clark State, Bellefontaine

Clark State College has an exciting opportunity for a part-time, non-benefit eligible position at their Bellefontaine location. The role is focused on providing essential administrative support, contributing to the efficient and professional operation of the institution.

​Key Responsibilities: 

1. Acting as the primary point of contact for the Bellefontaine location. 
2. Handling incoming communications such as phone calls, emails, and postal mail, and directing them to the appropriate office or individual. 
3. Assisting students with the enrollment process. 
4. Coordinating placement and academic testing for students. 
5. Engaging in outreach communications as required, including admissions and advising activities. 
6. Scheduling placement testing, academic testing, and advising appointments. 
7. Undertaking various office management duties, including setting up faculty mailboxes, maintaining supplies, and organizing workspaces and classrooms. 
8. Updating and creating standard operating procedure documents. 
9. Supporting special projects and student events as directed. 
10. Undertaking other duties as assigned by the supervisor. 

Education and Experience: 

• High school graduate or GED equivalent. 
• Familiarity with word processing, Outlook, and data entry preferred. 

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to maintain effective working relationships and provide courteous and effective customer service. 
• Availability to work day hours. Additional Requirements: 
• Strong communication and organizational skills. 
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. 

Physical Demands and Work Environment: 
The role involves primarily office-based work, with occasional standing, walking, and lifting of up to 20 pounds.
