Midwest Regional ESC Seeks Occupational Therapist for Logan County Preschool

​The Midwest Regional Educational Service Center (ESC) is currently hiring a part-time Occupational Therapist to serve at the Discovery Center Preschool located in Logan County. This position offers a meaningful opportunity to support young

learners through therapeutic services that enhance their educational experience.

Position Details:

• Job Title: Occupational Therapist
• Status: Part-Time (4 days/week, Monday–Thursday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.)
• Start Date: August 1, 2025
• Location: Discovery Center Preschool, Logan County

Qualifications:
Applicants must hold, or be eligible to obtain, a valid State Board of Education Pupil Services Permit and a current license from the Ohio Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy Board.

Job Responsibilities:
The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for conducting evaluations, providing therapeutic interventions, and participating in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Duties also include:

• Delivering therapy services in individual or small group settings
• Collaborating with educators and families to support student development
• Maintaining records and documentation as required
• Participating in IEP conferences and school-based team meetings
• Promoting a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment

Work Environment:
Therapists may work with students who have a variety of needs and must be prepared to operate therapy equipment, administer first aid, and manage behavioral and physical challenges in a school setting.
