Position: Maintenance Assistant
Location: Mary Rutan Hospital
205 E. Palmer Rd. Bellefontaine, OH

Job Summary:
The Maintenance Assistant assists in maintaining the physical structure and associated equipment of the hospital. Primary responsibilities include minor electrical work, mechanical repairs, and other maintenance-related duties.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED, or three to six months of related experience/training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  
  

Language Skills:

• Ability to communicate in English (verbal and written).
• Additional languages preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  
  

Skills:

• Basic computer knowledge.
• Proficiency in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions.
• Problem-solving skills for situations involving concrete variables.
  
  

Schedule:

• Full Time, Day Shift
• Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
