Madison-Champaign ESC Hiring School Nurse for Mac-A-Cheek Learning Center

Madison-Champaign Educational Service Center is seeking applicants for a full-time School Nurse position at Mac-A-Cheek Learning Center in Bellefontaine.

The school-year position is scheduled to begin August 10, 2026, and will support the emotional, mental, physical, and social well-being of students while helping maintain a safe and healthy learning environment.

​According to the posting, the School Nurse will work closely with staff, families, administrators, and outside providers to support student health and educational success.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing nursing care and first aid to students and staff
• Administering medications and treatments
• Managing student health concerns and chronic medical conditions
• Maintaining health records and immunization compliance
• Responding to medical emergencies
• Assisting with individualized healthcare and emergency care plans
• Promoting preventative care and health education

The ESC said ideal candidates will be compassionate, dependable, organized, flexible, and team-oriented while demonstrating a servant-hearted approach to supporting students and staff.

Applicants must hold a current Ohio RN license and either possess or be eligible to obtain Ohio Department of Education licensure or permit requirements. Previous pediatric, school, or special education experience is preferred.
