📅 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM + occasional early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed

Position Overview:
​The Logan County Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau is hiring a dynamic and community-minded Visitors Bureau Director to champion tourism in Logan County. This role offers a rare opportunity to lead award-winning marketing efforts, collaborate with local attractions and businesses, and help shape the future of our region’s tourism economy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain relationships with attractions, restaurants, and tourism-facing businesses
• Serve as the enthusiastic face of tourism through presentations and outreach
• Lead the monthly Visitors Bureau Council
• Develop and execute an annual county-wide marketing plan
• Promote innovative tourism programs (Ice Cream Trail, Logan County Tourism Week, etc.)
• Create and manage engaging content across social media and the website
• Plan and distribute the annual visitors guide and promotional materials
• Oversee tourism-focused campaigns and promotions
• Manage and grow the bed tax program, including new short-term rental collections
• Work as a team player with the Chamber and community stakeholders
• Respond to visitor inquiries (walk-ins, phone, and email)

✅ Qualifications:

• Proven communication and public speaking skills
• Friendly, outgoing personality with the ability to build strong relationships
• Comfortable representing the community to stakeholders and the public
• Organized, creative, and detail-oriented
• Experience with Canva, Microsoft Office, social media platforms, email marketing tools
• Understanding of marketing, tourism, or community planning preferred
• Valid Ohio driver’s license and reliable transportation required
