Job Description: Midwest Express, Inc. is seeking Production Associates for shipping, receiving, and assembly logistics

​services for a local automotive manufacturer. Duties include material handling, parts picking, sub-assembly, container sorting, and parts consolidation for shipping. Other duties as assigned. No experience required; our team of professionals will provide all necessary training.

Responsibilities:

• Handle materials and pick parts according to production schedules.
• Perform sub-assembly, container sorting, and parts consolidation for shipping.
• Lift up to 40 lbs continuously.
• Work overtime (pre and post shift) as needed, sometimes on short notice.
• Operate forklifts and tuggers (training provided).
• Demonstrate proficiency in forklift/tugger operation.

Qualifications:

• Must pass a pre-employment physical to test the ability to lift up to 40 lbs continuously.
• Ability to squat, stand, walk, twist, and bend consistently for the entire work shift.
• Background check and drug test required.

1. A manager level counseling within the past six months for quality, safety, or other issues.
2. More than three unexcused absences within the past twelve months.
3. Received a voluntary transfer within the past twelve months.
4. Not notified management of their application.
5. An active AIP.
6. A manager level counseling for attendance in the past twelve months.
