Job Shift: 12-Hour Shifts (7A – 7P or 7P – 7A) on a 3-2-2 schedule

Job Summary: AGC Automotive is seeking qualified Production Associates to operate production lines, ensuring the safety of self and others, and maintaining the quality of the product produced. This role offers a unique 3-2-2 shift schedule, allowing for fewer workdays and a better work-life balance. Starting wages are up to $22.35 per hour plus a $1.00 shift premium, with quarterly bonus potential, medical, dental, vision benefits, paid vacation, paid 12-hour holidays, attendance incentives, 401k with company match, safety boot reimbursement, prescription safety glasses, and opportunities for career advancement.

Principle Responsibilities:

• Ensure safety of self and others within the production area.
• Operate equipment according to established production procedures.
• Supply line with raw materials as required.
• Operate forklift safely and efficiently.
• Perform periodic quality checks.
• Troubleshoot line or quality concerns.
• Participate in or lead Kaizen activities for continuous process improvement.
• Maintain 5S standards (general cleaning, correct placement of tools, etc.).
• Perform minor maintenance of equipment.
• Actively participate in all production environment activities.
• Demonstrate AGC Way in all responsibilities.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand written instructions.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Experience with trimming and banding tools, hoists, monitoring machinery, and mechanical aptitude.
• Basic computer skills and experience with measurement tools and gauges.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks involving extensive use of hands and fingers.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders, visually distinguish colors, and inspect items for defects.
• Ability to learn quality standards for glass product production.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Availability to work a 3-2-2 12-hour shift schedule.
• Desire to work as part of a team with good work and safety habits.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to bend, twist, reach, perform repetitive arm movements, lift 35 lbs. repetitively.
• Stand on concrete for up to 12 hours per shift and withstand temperatures up to 100 degrees in summer months.
• Willingness to work voluntary and mandatory overtime.
