Discovery Riders Hiring Barn Manager in Bellefontaine

Discovery Riders Inc. is looking for a reliable, hardworking leader to join its team as a Barn Manager.

The full-time position is responsible for

overseeing daily barn operations, ensuring the health and care of program horses, supporting staff and volunteers, and helping maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment.

The Barn Manager will spend time leading and managing barn operations, coordinating schedules, maintaining equine care records, overseeing facility maintenance, assisting with horse training and assignments, and supporting Discovery Riders’ programs.

Qualified applicants should have strong leadership and communication skills, experience with horse care and handling, and a passion for supporting the mission of Discovery Riders. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, along with five years of management experience. Applicants must complete FBI and BCI background checks and have or be working toward CPR/First Aid certification.

The position requires a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays required. Pay ranges from $40,000-$50,000 annually based on experience.
