Benefits Case Manager (ERS2)

The Logan County Department of Job & Family Services is seeking two experienced Case Managers to join the Income Maintenance Unit as Eligibility Referral Specialist 2 (ERS2).

Responsibilities:

• Determine eligibility for public assistance programs, including initial applications, redeterminations, and emergency assistance.
• Provide exceptional customer service and handle detailed data entry.
• Assess ongoing employment situations of customers.
• Attend meetings, trainings, and conferences as required.

​Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an ERS2 or Benefits Case Manager at Job & Family Services.
• Strong customer service and data entry skills.
• Proficiency in using multiple computer platforms and phone systems.
• Degree preferred, but relevant experience will be considered.

Compensation:

• Salary: $36,961.60 - $47,881.60, based on experience and qualifications.
• Benefits: Health insurance, optional dental and vision plans, paid vacation, flexible work hours, and participation in the Ohio Public Employee’s Retirement System (OPERS).
• Annual retention payment and future salary increases based on years of service.
