​AGC Automotive, a global leader in automotive glass manufacturing, is currently seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to support its Bellefontaine, Ohio operations. This role is ideal for an analytical, process-driven individual with a passion for continuous improvement and hands-on problem-solving in a dynamic production environment.

Position Summary:
The Manufacturing Process Engineer is responsible for the development, optimization, and troubleshooting of production processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and safety. This role requires strong technical knowledge, data analysis skills, and collaboration across production, quality, and maintenance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze current manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement
• Develop and implement process changes to increase efficiency and reduce waste
• Assist with the installation and testing of new equipment or technologies
• Support root cause analysis and corrective action for quality or performance issues
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvement projects
• Ensure compliance with all company safety and environmental standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field preferred)
• 2+ years of manufacturing or engineering experience (automotive industry preferred)
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
• Strong problem-solving and project management skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and data analysis tools
